About Me

Azadeh obtained a Ph.D. in Political Science from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. Her areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, International Relations, Foreign Policy Analysis, Middle East Politics, Women’s Studies, and Quantitative Methods. In January 2024, she was awarded a prestigious postdoctoral fellowship from the Faculty of Arts and Science at
the University of Toronto, reflecting her academic excellence and dedication to furthering research in her field.

With a rich tapestry of experiences, Azadeh seamlessly navigates between academic and non- academic environments. She has actively engaged with United Nations agencies such as UNICEF, UNODC, and Amnesty International, leveraging her expertise to address pressing global challenges.

Beyond her academic and advocacy endeavours, Azadeh is a passionate painter, infusing her art with diverse themes and perspectives. Her captivating works have graced numerous galleries across Canada, serving as a visual testament to her multifaceted talents and creative expression. Through her interdisciplinary approach and diverse skill set, Azadeh continues to
make meaningful contributions to both the academic, non-academic, and artistic spheres.
